Welcome to Trinity Bight
Heart of the Discovery Trail
Trinity Bight and the Discovery Trail is home of breathtaking coastal hiking trails including the famous Skerwink Trail, recognized by several publications as one
of the top 35 hikes in North America and Europe!
Cape Random Trust
This is the production set for the award-winning mini-series "Random Passage" - a detailed depiction of a 19th century coastal village. A must see!
Rising Tide Theatre
Trinity and its history is brought to life in Rising Tide Theater's annual Seasons in the Bight featuring musicals, dramas, comedies and dinner theaters. Its most famous performance, the "New Founde Land", is an outdoor pageant that portrays the history of Trinity while moving among specific locals throughout the town.
Award Winning Eco-Tours
More than just a boat tour… with Coastal Connections you will learn about this magnificent place, participate in hands-on activities, and view the wonders of our natural environment…in the sky, on the land, and particularly in the sea. Coastal Connections was the winner of the 2006 Parks Canada/HNL Award for Sustainable Tourism and Finalist for the National Sustainable Tourism Award
Whale Watching & Icebergs
Join one of the area's boat tours to learn about and observe the 30,000 pound whales which play off our shores. This is even more spectacular when the back-drop is a 10,000 year old iceberg!
Another great way to explore our coastline dotted with sheltered coves, secluded inlets and stunning sea stacks, is sea kayaking. This area is deemed one of the province's top sea kayaking destinations!
Music and Entertainment
Trinity Bight comes alive throughout the season with a schedule of traditional and contemporary music and entertainment. From traditional dance-ups to poetry readings, there are many opportunities to "soak-up" the re-known Newfoundland Arts community.
“Trinity Bight offers several dining options to suit all tastes. A personal favourite of mine is The Twine Loft which offers casual fine dining in Trinity. Watch for live entertainment. It’s my recommendation for an evening out. Good taste, good service. Fine entertainment. Click here to check out a sample menu. Also, during your visit be sure to check out the menus at the Dock Marina and Fishers Loft Inn."

Museums & Historic Sites
A Museum Pass can be purchased to give you access to 6 of Trinity's main historic sites including the Interpretation Building, The Hiscock House, The Ryans Shop, The Green Family Forge, the Lester-Garland House, and the Trinity Museum. Take this a step further with the wonderful "Trinity Historical Walking Tour" with Kevin Toope.
We celebrate our rich heritage in local museums, historic sites and most importantly, our every day lives.
